Slowly pick up your baby and gently hold him. First of all, do not be scared!

Most of the people are nervous while holding the newborn babies.

The first step in taking care of the baby is actually being able to pick him up. So, relax and carefully pick him up.

Support the baby’s head with your hand

Support the baby’s back by placing your other hand between his legs.

Lift the baby close to your body.

Bring your baby close to your heart while cradling your baby while his head rests on your arm.

Choose whichever side is comfortable for you because it doesn’t really matter which side you hold the baby on.
